| Germany has three professional leagues for employment opportunities. Our players are also allowed to play in the Regional Liga (4. Division) and on U23 Reserve teams of Bundesliga 1 and Bundesliga 2 teams.
The German market is regulated in its financial structure and is a solid business venture (The German Bundesliga is currently the most profitable European league in the market).

How will we get our players there?
The level of play is within the potential of our players and smaller clubs cannot compete in player recruiting with the more affluent clubs in Germany. Therefore, small and medium sized clubs look for innovative methods for player acquisition (new markets such as North America) with creative business arrangements, and development programs, this is where Highlanders Residency fits in.
Why Germany?
In addition to the expansive network that Thomas Niendorf and his team have in Germany, the US & Canada are politically associated countries to Germany. This means that if a player receives a contract offer from a German club, the German employment office is obligated to grant a work permit and the player can take residence in Germany for the duration of his contract. This privilege is not available for other European based countries, such as the United Kingdom, where you must have a European passport and a certain standing within the FIFA rankings (which Canada currently does not have).
