TAMPA, Fla. – The Premier Development League named Highlanders defender Callum Montgomery among its 11 players that make up the PDL Team of the Week.

GK – Eric Kam, Ventura County Fusion: The netminder recorded eight saves in a shutout win against the Southern California Seahorses on Saturday.

D – Johan Mauritzon, FA Euro New York: In FA Euro New York’s season opener, Mauritzon scored the opening goal and helped his side keep a clean sheet, as the club cruised to a 2-0 win against Evergreen FC.

D – Jonathan Parpeix, FC Miami City: Parpeix, who played all 180 minutes in FC Miami City’s two Week 2 wins, recorded one assist in his club’s 4-0 victory against the Lakeland Tropics on Thursday.

D – Callum Montgomery, Victoria Highlanders FC: The University of North Carolina at Charlotte standout scored Victoria Highlanders FC’s first goal of the season en route to helping the club record a 4-1 win against Lane United on Sunday.

M – Hugo Delhommelle, Reading United AC: The Syracuse University talent bossed the midfield in Reading United AC’s 4-1 win against Lehigh Valley United on Saturday, providing two assists in his club’s season opener.

M – Martim Galvao, Nashville SC U23: The Pfeiffer University standout led the Nashville SC U23 to their first PDL win, scoring a sensational free kick in the second minute of play and netting another goal in the 30th minute.

M – Francis Atuahene, Michigan Bucks: The University of Michigan midfielder displayed his talent against 2015 PDL champion K-W United FC on Saturday before scoring the game-winning goal in the 79th minute.

M – Joey Chica, Fresno Fuego: Chica scored two goals in 73 minutes of action against Burlingame Dragons FC at Burlingame High School on Sunday.

F – Noah Keats, OKC Energy U23: The 2016 PDL All-League Team selection has carried his form over into 2017, netting two goals in his side’s 3-0 win against FC Cleburne on Saturday.

F – Joao Costa, Charlotte Eagles: Costa scored a hat trick against Wilmington Hammerheads FC, leading the Charlotte Eagles to a 6-2 victory at home on Saturday.

F – Tyler Botte, Long Island Rough Riders: Botte scored one goal and provided two assists in the Long Island Rough Riders’ season-opening 5-1 win against the Westchester Flames on Saturday.
